5 Natural Acne Treatments That Work Well and Don’t Cost An Arm And A Leg

Acne is a serious condition and I have five all-natural acne treatments for you to try. If you suffer from acne you have probably tried all kinds of treatment options. There are the creams, cleansers and even over the counter and prescription medications. But have you also given natural acne treatments a try?.

1) Pay Attention To Your Diet
The most important step towards clearer skin is to drink plenty of water. This one change alone will improve your skin and your well-being. It is also a good idea to watch your diet and determine what types of foods and drinks are aggravating your acne. Just try to stay away from them as much as possible.

2) The Power Of The Sun
Another very simple but extremely effective thing to do is to stick your face in the sun once a day. Make it a point to get out in the sun several times per week. This will cause your body to make plenty of Vitamin D and it is good for your skin as well.

3) Green Tea – The Ancient Elixir
Green tea has been shown to improve acne. The science community things that the phytochemicals and anti-oxidants in the tea give it is medical benefits. Just pour yourself a few cups of tea each day. Do not add any sweetener as this natural preservative will reduce some of the nutrients in the tea ineffective.

4) Aloe Vera And Tea Tree Oil
Mix a little of the oil and aloe gel in your hand and massage it on your face as part of your cleaning routine. Tea tree oil has antibacterial properties and the gel made from the aloe plant will reduce swelling and redness.

5) Vinegar And Baking Soda
Last but not least, here are two more homemade treatment options. While you are suffering from an acne breakout, use vinegar like a toner a few times a day. Acne outbreaks will quickly clear up with this. After your acne breakout is healed, apply a baking soda mask to your face, neck and shoulders. To make it just mix the soda with a bit of water. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes, and then rinse with plenty of warm water. You can make this mask a few times per week. The baking soda will help restore the natural ph balance of your skin making it less likely for new outbreaks to occur.
